  Narinder Nayar - Chairman, Mumbai First

Narinder Nayar is Chairman of Mumbai First and Managing Director of Concast (India) Limited. He is also President of the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce. He has been actively and passionately involved with the Mumbai Transformation Programme, which is spearheaded by the Honorable Chief Minister.

As Chairman of Mumbai first, Narinder was instrumental in arranging a study together with McKinsey on how Mumbai could be transformed into a world-class city over the next 10 years.
Following this study, several initiatives have been taken by the Maharashtra Government including constituting a Citizen’s Action Group of which Narinder Nayar is the Vice Chairman.

In addition, he is also an active member of the Empowered Committee headed by the Chief Secretary to monitor various ongoing projects in Mumbai
     

     
  Ashank Desai - Vice-Chairman, Mumbai First

Ashank is the founder and former Chairman of Mastek Ltd, a public-held IT player. He also guides the Mastek Foundation, whose mission is enabling “Informed Giving and Responsible Receiving”. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. Ashank is actively involved with many social initiatives and institutions.
He is currently serving as Vice Chairman, Governing Board of Mumbai First, President of Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO), an organization founded for the development of IT in the Asia-Pacific region, Chairman of Pan IIT Alumni India, Vice-Chairman, Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, IIT Mumbai, Member of the Governing Board of IIM Ahmedabad and Member of the Governing Trustees and Governing Board of Goa Institute of Management. Ashank Desai also advises government organizations both in India and abroad, and is a member of the Task Force Committee to the Maharashtra Directorate of Industries for ICT Policy. He is also a member of Maharashtra State Security Council. In addition, he is a member of the International Team on Economic Reforms for the President of Zambia. In the recent past, he has been on the National Council of CII and is currently on the National IT Committee of FICCI.
 

 
 

Roger C B Pereira - Vice-Chairman, Mumbai First

Roger C B Pereira is one of India's most renowned communications professionals. He began his career, which spans 48 plus years, with J. Walter Thompson, then with Shilpi Advertising Ltd., and finally, R & PM: Edelman, company he founded in 1987.

Roger has the unique experience of working with Presidents, Prime Ministers, Senior Ministers and the Government of India on a wide range of issues. 

He is also the recipient of several national and international awards. He has subsequently served on the juries for these awards. In 2008, he was conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Roger was Founder-President/Chairperson of the International Advertising Association, India Chapter, Co-founder & later Chairperson of the Advertising Standards Council of India, President, Advertising Agencies Association of India and the Advertising Club, Mumbai.

Roger has lectured on advertising, marketing and developmental communications at leading Universities / Management Institutes in India and in the United States.
 

 
 

Col. Sunil Saberwal - CEO, Mumbai First

Colonel Sunil Saberwal is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy and the Indian Military Academy. In the Indian Army since 1978, he has been the Commanding Officer of a tank regiment with Maratha Troops during the confrontation with Pakistan in 2000-2002 and another regiment in 2005 -2007 in Ahmadnagar.

He has been awarded four distinguished services commendations in his thirty six years of service spread from J&K to North East to Punjab to Rajasthan. He is also a graduate of Defence Services Staff College,Wellington, has been a founder Instructor in Faculty of Nuclear Biological Chemical Warfare in College of Military Engineering, Pune and Staff Officer-Operations in Jammnu & Kashmir.

He joined Mumbai First as the CEO after relinquishing his army career in 2009.
